Chris and his crew were very professional in their approach to the repair I needed for my paver walk way. The pavers had resettled due to the huge rainstorm in January, making the walkway dangerous. Chris submitted a very affordable bid. His crew arrived on time on the appointed day. Did an expert job realigning the pavers. I’m very happy with the results, and would not hesitate having him do any other paving repairs should it be necessary.

We needed some clean up on our hill out back and blocks on one of our walls replaced. Chris came in with an affordable bid. His foreman, Chuck, and the other guys did a great job. We are totally satisfied with their work and the price we paid.

Due to the positive comments on the Alpine Facebook group, I contacted Burgio Landscaping. We needed some work done on our irrigation/sprinkler system both repairs and changes. Communication was good from the start and prices seemed very reasonable. Misha showed as planned and everything about her work that day was excellent. Communication, suggestions (and why) and work quality were all first-rate. We will definitely use Burgio again in the future. Thanks Misha and Chris!

Burgio workers are doing a great job of caring for our nearly acre of land. They arrive on time, and immediately go to work. They know our property very well after a few weeks of working here and need little input from us. They take care of things as if they were taking care of their very own, always pleasant and will do special tasks when asked. We are very happy that we learned of them through a tree trimming service that we use.

This company is wonderful. They let you know what they will do and how much it will cost clearly and in a manner you can understand, then they go way beyond expectations. I am on the Board of the Descanso Town Hall Association and we hired Burgio Landscaping to maintain the ground for our 1898 historic building. We did a major refurbishing of the inside and painted the building but the grounds needed work. Chris Burgio and his crew were wonderful, first they came in and did a clean up on the entire 2 acres. Now they come every two weeks and do whatever needs to be trimmed ( roses, plants, trees ). They keep the outside looking beautiful. To say they go beyond is an understatement. At our 125th Parade and Fair last month they noticed our new playground had slides that were hot for the kids sliding down. Next thing we know they have volunteered to put up a triangle shade over the slide area. What a team!

Burgio Landscaping’s work is over and above 5 stars, they are the best!  Had my  old worn out irrigation completely replaced. Had old plants removed and a few added, had artificial turf, river rock and mulch added, the icing on the cake is the beautiful cement curbing.  Looks like paradise.  And I’ve already been able to reduce my weekly gardners to bi-weekly and the water savings will be huge!

The crew was here on time every day, everyone was courteous and pleasant, all hard working.  Every day when they were finished everything was cleaned up, the entire team went over and above what was required.  Special thanks to Ryan, Misha and Tyler. The owner, Chris was so easy going, helpful & accommodating, he and his team had great suggestions and the communication was great.  If I wanted changes or wasn’t sure about something, we’d discuss and it was done immediately, which at times meant changing something that was already completed.

I strongly recommend Burgio, so nice to have such hard, honest workers this day and age not just standing around on their phones.  I’m already planning my next project!  You won’t regret hiring Burgio.

Chris was referred to us by a prior customer of his. Chris was very attentive to the concept that we were looking for. He met with us on numerous occasions as we planned out our landscaping needs. He added great suggestions to the landscaping plans. He indicated a duration of the time it would take to complete the project and he met that timeline. We can’t say enough about how great his crew was. Every morning they arrived on time, They were friendly, very professional, and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend Chris and crew. We would not hesitate to use his services again.

Our long time landscape maintenance company retired. They had been maintaining the status quo for us and a number of needs had accumulated. They recommended Burgio Landscape to take over our account and the results are great !! Our to-do list is down to zero. Burgio added height to our retaining wall, re-landscaped around our deck, fixed soft spots in our artificial turf and is helping my wife and me with our front garden re-do. Chris Burgio and his team are great for maintenance and for projects too.
I give them a strong recommendation for your landscape work.

I’m not much for reviews, but definitely wanted to leave one for Burgio Landscape. We hired them to replace our collapsing old wooden retaining wall in the front yard. The price was fair, the work was excellent, and the workers were on time every day and very professional. Work took about a week which was expected with the amount of work required. Every day, they cleaned up after themselves by sweeping and blowing off the street and driveway so that there was no dirt or debris. Very happy with everything.

I’ve hired Burgio for several projects, everything from redesigning planters, to doing paver patio areas, sprinkler system add-ons and repair and even most recently some Country Manor keystone type wall. Chris the owner is a star, and can handle a lot of different projects, including custom concrete curbing (for planters, design space, etc) that many contractors don’t even offer. I recommend Chris and his crews to anyone that needs regular landscape service or landscape projects done, they are professional & responsible, and I haven’t found another landscape company in East San Diego (they work all over SD County) that I trust and can count on like Chris and his team. I highly recommend them to anyone needing landscape services and projects that many other contractors aren’t capable of, you know, all those guys that don’t bother to show up or don’t quote the job? Great job Chris, as always

If you’re looking for a professional landscaper that knows his plants and has an eye for landscape design, Burgio Landscape Service is right for you!!

I needed someone that could clean out the current garden, amend the soil and make it healthy, and plant plants that are right for the climate of my area and right for the type of garden environment I envisioned.

Burgio Landscape owner, Chris Burgio, listened to my concerns and vision for my garden. When he returned to do the work, I was more than pleased with the plants he brought and with the end results for plant placement. Can you tell how pleased I am? All I want to do is go out and look at my garden over and over again; it is that beautiful!

Chris Burgio is professional in his follow through with the initial meeting and provided a detailed outline of what service he will provide and plants and garden amenities and based on the meeting what the owner will provide. The invoice is detailed and complete with costs so there are no surprises.

Chris and the worker he brought with him were very nice, courteous, and attentive to my questions. They were a professional crew that worked hard the whole time they were here.

Before they left, everything was swept up and the garden was watered…and, I was given tips for watering and upkeep.

We had Chris and his crew landscape our whole yard. Chris took my ideas and designed a beautiful yard for me. He was very thorough and detailed, explaining things all they way through the process. His crew was hard working, very polite. They left the job clean everyday. We couldn’t be any happier with Chris and his crew. So glad we hired Chris.

HIGHLY recommend Chris and his team!!! We couldn’t be happier with the end result of our backyard landscaping! Chris was responsive and respectful of all our requests from the moment we first contacted him through the end of the project. From start to finish- he arrived when he said he would, followed up when he made a date commitment and started on the exact day he promised. The guys were incredibly hard workers and left the job site clean and usable at the end of each day. Thank you Chris and team for a SUPER job!!!

CHRIS IS AN OUTSTANDING SAN DIEGO LANDSCAPER, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! My wife’s friend Karen asked Chris Burgio & his awesome team (Pedro, Ephraim, Lance) re-do the entire front yard ~ originally an unsightly pile of mulch, a ton of weeds, random rocks, et cetera. He gladly worked within Karen’s budget and designed a brilliant garden using all the suggestions & types of plants Karen picked out at a nursery; Chris actually walked her through the nursery and wanted to make sure he knew which ones she particularly liked. Chris is a great, great guy: totally honest, very responsive, and reasonable; friendly, approachable, and works very hard to please his clients. Karen is going to ask him to re-design the backyard, too, with a little orchard, et cetera. Chris came with an outstanding referral; he definitely should be your “go-to” landscaper from here on out!! He even texted her to follow up to see how much she liked her new yard…”like?” She LOVES it!! My wife is so jealous.
